Two men collared after jeepney heist
Two men were arrested on accusation that they robbed a jeepney passenger in barangay Bulacao-Pardo, Cebu City, last Friday night.
Police said a .38 revolver and a .22 Magnum revolver were recovered from Anecito Ebrado, 21, and Christopher Nadal, 18.
The two men denied that they were robbers. They said they didn’t have firearms when they were arrested.
Police said the two men were identified by Hyde Tejido Pareja of barangay Tuyan, Naga City, as the ones who robbed her while she was on board a jeepney bound for Bulacao-Pardo.
The two men hurriedly disembarked after the robbery.
Barangay tanods Warren Noquia and Arnel Alcantara noticed the commotion and arrested the two men.
