Cops nab drug surrenderee in Pasig for possessing ‘shabu,’ illegal firearms

Eastern Police District (EPD) officers arrested a drug surrenderee for possession of illegal firearms and suspected crystal meth, or “shabu,” in Pasig Friday night.

On Saturday, the EPD identified the suspect as 41-year-old Efren Sulit, 41.

Police officers with a search warrant arrested him after finding the firearms and drugs in his house on M. Suarez Avenue in Barangay Palatiw.

The officers seized from the suspect two .38-caliber revolvers, a machine pistol, drug paraphernalia, and 38 sachets of suspected shabu estimated to weigh 10 grams, with street value of P25,000.
