3 minors rescued, 4 drug suspects nabbed in Manila buy-bust
Three minors were rescued and four drug suspects were arrested in a buy-bust operation on Recto Avenue in Santa Cruz, Manila Friday night.
According to the Manila Police District (MPD), the rescued minors were a 15-year-old grade 9 student and two 14-year-old grade 8 students in Quezon City.
The operation took place at around 11:20 p.m.

On Saturday, the MPD identified the suspects as Caroline Manuel, Myra Naucom, Amy Solero, and John Joseph Solon.
Confiscated from them were 52 small sachets and a medium-sized sachet of suspected crystal meth, or shabu, and 11 small sachets and a medium-sized sachet of suspected marijuana of undetermined street value.
Article continues after this advertisementPolice also seized P2,400 in cash, a sling bag, and a digital weighing scale. They also recovered the P500 used as buy-bust money.
The three minors will be turned over to the Department of Social Welfare and Development, while the other suspects were taken for inquest proceedings. /atm
