MMDA monitors flooded Metro roads

(Updated, 4:30 p.m., Aug. 11) The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) monitored on Saturday a number of flooded areas due to heavy rain.

In an advisory, the MMDA said that the following areas have gutter-deep flood and remains passable to all types of vehicles as of 3:30 p.m.

Quirino, Plaza Dilao (above gutter deep)

The traffic agency also monitored knee-deep flood in some areas. The MMDA said that the following areas are currently not passable to light vehicles:

Araneta, E. Rodriguez

Quezon ave. Biak na Bato

España, Maceda and Blumentritt

Rizal Ave. R. Papa

Lastly, the MMDA said that the following areas are not passable to all types of vehicles as of 3:30 p.m. due to flooding.

Araneta, Victory Avenue

Araneta, Talayan
