More ‘habagat’ rains over western Luzon

/ 07:17 AM July 21, 2018

The western section of Luzon will continue to experience rains in the coming days due to the effects of the southwest monsoon (“habagat”) and Tropical Storm “Inday,” which has intensified as it moved out of the country.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the combined effects of habagat, Inday and a low-pressure area over the country’s western seaboard will bring moderate to heavy rains. —MELVIN GASCON
