Fewer schools allowed to raise tuition

Fewer private schools were allowed by the Department of Education (DepEd) to raise tuition this school year, compared to the previous academic year.

Data from the department showed that 947 schools nationwide were allowed to increase fees or only 7 percent of 14,430 private schools nationwide. Jhesset O. Enano
