1.5M young voters could decide 2019 elections — Pimentel
Some 1.5 million Filipino youth would be eligible to vote for the first time next year, which could provide swing votes in the 2019 midterm elections, according to Sen. Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III.
“This is a significant portion of our population, one that should be given a say in choosing their leaders,” said the ousted Senate president, who is seeking reelection in 2019. —DJ Yap
