Isabela gunmen kill 2 brothers, wound 2 children

CITY OF ILAGAN — Motorcycle-riding men shot and killed two brothers, and wounded two children in Mangcuram village at about 5 a.m. on Monday, police said.

Danny Rapisora, 45, and his 40-year-old brother Joel were riding on separate motorcycles when they were attacked by two men on a third motorcycle.

Joel’s two children, 11-year-old Christian and nine-year-old John Joel, who were riding with the brothers, were struck in the crossfire.

The Rapisora brothers died from gunshot wounds to the head and torso, while the children are being treated at the Faustino Dy Sr. Memorial Hospital.

The police have yet to establish why the brothers were killed. /je
