Suspect in 2007 killing of Cavite cop nabbed in Lucena City

LUCENA CITY – Police on Friday afternoon nabbed here a suspect in the killing of a Cavite policeman in 2007.

Delfin Cesa, 60, who was also tagged as the number two most wanted criminal in Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon), was arrested by policemen by virtue of a search warrant in Barangay (village) Talao-Talao around 3:30 p.m., Chief Supt. Guillermo Eleazar, Calabarzon police director, said in a report.

The report said police also seized an Armscor caliber .45 pistol with seven bullets from Casa.

Ceza was a suspect in the killing of Senior Police Officer 2 Angelito Habana, who was assigned in Tanza, Cavite.

Meanwhile, police also arrested Rondeson de Mesa in Candelaria, Quezon.

Police said De Mesa is wanted for murder and was listed as the second most wanted criminal in Quezon. /muf
