Members of the Detection and Management Branch (IDMB) of the Mandaue City Police Office (MCPO) brought the recovered items to Seno, who positively identified her belongings.

Also found in the room was Parba’s plane ticket. It showed that Parba was scheduled to leave for Singapore the day after the incident.

Parba was identified through some footages caught by security cameras at the CICC.

The suspect was seen leaving CICC bringing a bag owned by Seno, a resident of A.C. Cortes, barangay Cambaru, Mandaue City.

Seno was the chairperson of the beauty and search committee of the Mandaue City Queen, Prince and Princess pageants.

DRUGS SEIZED IN TALISAY RAID

SEVERAL packs of suspected shabu were seized from the house of a man who was allegedly involved in illegal drug trade in barangay Bulacao, Talisay City, southern Cebu.

A big pack, two medium seize, 14 small packs of suspected shabu and drug-sniffing paraphernalia were found in the house of Caloy Abalo.

Abalo was not around when members of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in Central Visayas (CIDG-7) raided his house on the strength of a search warrant issued by Regional Trial Court Judge Soliver Peras.

Abalo was reportedly in Bohol province when the raid was conducted, said Chief Insp. Fermin Armendares, leader of the raiding team.

Cash worth P73,000 was also found in the house.

Armendares said it was Abalos’ neighbors who reported to the police about the man’s alleged illegal activities.
