Pampanga, Bulacan get new police chiefs

CAMP OLIVAS, PAMPANGA – The Central Luzon police have new commanders in the provinces of Pampanga and Bulacan.

Senior Supt. Nicolas Salvador replaced Senior Supt. Joel Consulta as Pampanga police director. Consulta now heads the Regional Public Safety Battalion of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO).

Senior Supt. Chito Bersaluna has assumed the post of Bulacan police director. Bersaluna’s predecessor, Senior Supt. Romeo Caramat Jr., was reassigned to the Philippine National Police Intelligence Group at its national headquarters in Camp Crame in Quezon City.

Salvador, a member of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) Class 1993, used to head the NCRPO Regional Mobile Group.

Bersaluna, of PNPA Class 1994, was former chief of the San Juan City police.
