SAN PEDRO CITY – A barangay captain vying for re-election in Cavite City was arrested for illegal drugs on Wednesday morning.

Cavite City police chief Supt. Giovannie Martinez said Arman delos Angeles was arrested around 3 a.m. in Barangay 42B, where he is seeking another fresh mandate as village chief.

In a text message, Martinez said their Drug Enforcement Team was armed with a search warrant issued on Tuesday by Judge Agripino Morga, of the Regional Trial Courts 29 to 32 in San Pablo City, Laguna, against Delos Angeles.
