Suspected drug pusher nabbed in Legazpi City buy-bust

LEGAZPI CITY – An alleged drug peddler was arrested in a buy-bust operation in this city late Monday night, police reports said Tuesday.

Anti-illegal drug operatives collared Edcel Ador Atum, 30, when he tried to sell illegal drugs to undercover police officers in Purok 3 in Barangay Pawa at around 10 p.m.

Police seized five sachets of suspected crystal meth or “shabu” from the suspect.

The suspect was later taken to the regional crime laboratory based in this city for further drug test examination. –Elyssa Kristine Ella, Inquirer Intern
