/ 05:01 AM April 11, 2018

A fire that broke out in a house in Caloocan City on Monday night left a 70-year-old woman and her son dead.

The blaze which started at 10:27 p.m. was believed to have been caused by Banjo Carbonell who had been locked inside his room after he suffered a breakdown, said case investigator FO1 Jason Sarao.

Hours before the fire, Carbonell, who had a mental disability, went into a rage, prompting his mother Linda and brother Pepito to ask barangay watchmen for help.
