Tropical Storm ‘Caloy’ out of PAR but still affects parts of Luzon
The trough of Tropical Storm Caloy (internationally known as Jelawat) will continue to affect parts of Luzon even if it has left the Philippine area of responsibility by Wednesday morning, according to the the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
The Bicol region and Eastern Visayas will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the trough of Caloy, Pagasa said Wednesday afternoon.
The storm was last located 1,050 km east-northeast of Guiuan, Eastern Samar. It was packing maximum sustained winds of 85 kph hour near the center with a gustiness of up to 105 kph.
It was moving northward at 11 kph.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains due to localized thunderstorms, Pagasa said. /atm
