DID YOU KNOW: Metro Manila had most HIV cases in December 2017

Based on the latest data from the Department of Health, Metro Manila posted the highest number of new human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) cases in December 2017 among all regions.

Of the reported 992 new HIV cases registered nationwide, 35 percent or 351 were from the National Capital Region.

In second place was Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan) with 15 percent or 147 cases. —Marielle Medina
