More flying voters sighted
Election lawyer Romulo Macalintal said on Sunday that another group of flying voters had been discovered, this time in Manila.
In a phone interview, Macalintal told the Inquirer that 161 people were found huddled inside a “building that was not big enough” to house them. Upon checking, they were discovered to be residents of Navotas City, he added.
According to him, the flying voters were recently registered as residents of a barangay in Manila.
However, he declined to give more details, including the name of the barangay, saying he would file a case against the group today in the Manila City Prosecutor’s Office.
Macalintal last week exposed 1,458 flying voters in Pasay City who gave fictitious addresses, including a station of the Light Rail Transit Line 1.
