Cops catch party drug suppliers

Two alleged suppliers of party drugs in the cities of Taguig, Makati, Pasig and Caloocan have been arrested in a buy-bust operation.

Yuki Rose Shibata, 24, and Gillian Villahermosa, 25, were caught on Sunday by Caloocan policemen with P18,500 worth of ecstasy and P8,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth), according to Senior Insp. Allan Hernandez, the city police’s drug enforcement unit chief.

The pair was targeted after Tristan Beltran, who was arrested earlier for allegedly coercing his live-in partner to sell drugs, identified them as his main supplier, said PO1 Daryl Navarette, case investigator.
