13-year-old boy, pleading for life, shot dead in Pagadian
PAGADIAN CITY — Unidentified men riding in tandem on a motorbike shot dead a 13-year old boy who had come from an internet shop early Sunday and was on his way home to Purok Makabibihag Uno in Barangay Sta. Lucia in this city.
Supt. Benito Recopuerto, chief of the Pagadian City Police Station, identified the boy as Saidamen Diamla.
Recopuerto said the boy had just finished playing games at an internet shop on Pulmones Street and was on his way home with other gamers when the two men on a motorbike arrived at around 3:00 a.m.
The group of gamers were alarmed and scampered for their safety.
The men chased Diamla and on catching up with him repeatedly fired at him.
The boy had a single gunshot wound on his left nipple, according to Recopuerto.

Article continues after this advertisementSittie Diamla, the victim’s mother, said witnesses had told her that her son kneeled and pleaded for his life, but the suspects shot him anyway.
She said she could not understand why her son had to be killed.
