SANTIAGO CITY-A 23-year-old tricycle driver and two minors were arrested for allegedly taking P530 in cash from a police officer’s motorcycle on Friday morning (Feb. 2) in Mabini village here.

Ramson Gomez, 23, and two youths aged 16 and 15 years old, were observed fleeing from the vehicle of Police Officer 3 Rodrigo Salviejo, 40, which was parked in front of the Club House Disco Bar at the Greenview Lodge compound, said Chief Inspector Rolando Gatan, chief of the Santiago police office’s Station 1.

When he returned to his motorcycle, Salviejo saw his U-box destroyed, and the three suspects running away. The police officer tracked down the suspects and detained them.
