Binay to DOTr: Deliver promise of better MRT-3 services
Walk the talk and deliver your promises to improve the services of Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3).
Senator Nancy Binay had this to say to the Department of Transportation (DOTr) after its earlier assurance of an improvement in MRT-3 services starting this February.

Anyare?” Binay said in a statement on Wednesday.

The DOTr chief, she added, also promised to raise the MRT-3’s speed to 50 kilometers per hour (kph) from the previous 40 kph.
Binay, however, bewailed that at present, the MRT announced that it has only eight trains running in the system.
This month alone, the senator said, the MRT-3 suffered almost daily breakdowns.
Binay asked.
“Our commuting public cannot wait any longer for a better and commensurate service for the fare they pay,” she added. /kga
