Height no longer a requirement to become a police officer – Napolcom

Height would no longer pose as a problem for individuals who aspire to become police officers, as the National Police Commission (Napolcom) has removed such restriction for applicants.

“Starting with the April 22, 2018 police examinations, there shall be no height requirement for the Philippine National Police (PNP) entrance exam applicants as long as they are bachelor’s degree holder and not more than 30 years old,” said Napolcom Vice Chairman and Executive Officer Atty. Rogelio Casurao in a statement on Friday.

At the same time, the Napolcom has announced that it has activated its online examination application scheduling system (OLEASS) at the Napolcom websites (www.napolcom.gov.ph or www.napolcom-oleass.com) for the nationwide conduct of the PNP entrance and promotional examinations.

Interested individuals may sign up from January 29 to February 2 for PNP entrance exam; February 5 to 9 for the Police Officer exam; and February 12 for the Senior Police Officer, Inspector, and Superintendent exam.

The OLEASS allows entrance examinees to choose the venue of the test center where they wish to take the exams. But for those seeking promotion, their examination center will be based on the home/assignment address of the applicant.                   /kga
