DID YOU KNOW: Liver Cancer and Viral Hepatitis Awareness and Prevention

The month of January is Liver Cancer and Viral Hepatitis Awareness and Prevention Month by virtue of Republic Act No. 10526 signed on April 23, 2013, by then President Benigno Aquino III. The Department of Health is tasked to lead the implementation of the act and provide comprehensive public education and awareness programs on liver cancer and viral hepatitis. —MARIELLE MEDINA
