Fair weather with cloudy skies, light rain on Thursday

The country continued to be storm-free on Thursday, but two weather systems will bring light rain over Luzon.

The Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, Quezon, and Aurora will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms due to the tail-end of a cold front, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

The northeast monsoon or amihan is affecting the rest of Luzon.

Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative Region will experience cloudy skies with light rains, Pagasa said.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rain are expected over the rest of Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

Moderate to rough seas are expected over Luzon and eastern section of the Visayas due to the northeast monsoon. /cbb
