P600,000 worth of ‘shabu’ seized by PDEA in Naga City bust
LEGAZPI CITY – Operatives from Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) confiscated “shabu” or crystal meth worth P600,000 in an anti-illegal drug buy-bust in Naga City Thursday morning.
Agent Vidal Bacolod, PDEA Camarines Sur provincial officer, said the shabu, which weighed around 100 grams, was sold to their agent by Marilex Arbuis and Cesar Galiza, both 30, and residents of Barangay (village) Del Rosario, at around 8:45 a.m. near the new bus terminal at Naga City’s central business district.
Bacolod said it took several test buys before the drug buy-bust transaction was set Thursday.
He said Arbuis and Galiza were immediately arrested after receiving the marked decoy money. The two suspected drug dealers are now under the custody of the PDEA while charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002” are being readied against them. /je
