Wind convergence to produce clouds, scattered rain — Pagasa

/ 09:46 AM October 29, 2017

An intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) will affect Palawan and Mindanao on Sunday, the weather bureau said in its early morning forecast.

Due to the weather system, Zamboanga Peninsula and the provinces of Palawan, Sarangani, South Cotabato and Davao Occidental will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain and thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in its 4 a.m. bulletin.

Meanwhile, Pagasa said the regions of Cordillera and Cagayan Valley will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rain due to the northeasterly surface wind flow.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with possible isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms. /cbb
