Several Manila roads closed this weekend for fun runs
Motorists traversing Manila should plan their routes this weekend as several roads would be closed to give way for the staging of fun runs, the Manila District Traffic Enforcement Unit (MTDEU) announced on Friday.
In a traffic advisory, the MTDEU said that the southbound lane of Roxas Boulevard from Katigbak Drive to President Quirino Avenue would be closed on Saturday starting at 3 a.m. for the Jose P. Rizal Elementary School’s “Fun Run for a Cause.”
On Sunday, Roxas Boulevard would again be closed due to Runrio Trilogy 3.
The MTDEU advised that on both days, motorists coming from Bonifacio Drive should turn left to P. Burgos Avenue to their point of destination.
Those coming from three key Manila bridges—Jones, McArthur, and Quezon—should take Taft Avenue.
