The Abellana National School (ANS) Pomeroy notched its third win in the boys 17-under in the ongoing CAFC (Cebu Amateur Football Club) 11th National Interclub Football Cup played in three different venues in Cebu City.

ANS Pomeroy looked headed for a lopsided win after leading 3-0 before the half with two goals from Jake Ricaplaza and one from Pedro Diao.

But complacency almost cost ANS Pomeroy the win as it played the second half with a porous defense allowing Springdale to score two goals courtesy of Mico Villacin and Shawn Haosen.
