Quoting Christian Plata, 22, elder brother of the victims, police said the siblings were all sleeping when the fire started and quickly spread throughout the house. Christian managed to escape the blaze and call for help but when he returned, he found his two young brothers burned to death.

Christian also sustained burn injuries and was brought to a local hospital for treatment. Report said an unattended lighted candle possibly caused the fire.

Police said the parents of the victims were not around when the fire happened. CBB
