Three-vehicle pileup causes heavy traffic on Edsa
A three-vehicle collision involving a tow truck, a dump truck and a passenger bus caused heavy traffic along the southbound lane of Edsa in Cubao, Quezon City, Wednesday morning.
DZIQ Radyo Inquirer 990 reported that at about 5:35 a.m., a tow truck that was pulling a dump truck made a sudden stop as it approached the Main Avenue Southbound bus stop.
The momentum of the loaded dump truck caused it to barrel forward, ramming the tow truck owned by Dragon V Towing Service.
It then collided with a Taguig Metroliner Bus that was on an adjacent lane.
The collision severely damaged the dump truck’s cab and windshield, scattering shattered glass on the road.
