BCDA head holds fort for CDC official
CLARK FREEPORT — The president of the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) has taken over as officer in charge of the agency’s subsidiary, Clark Development Corp. (CDC).
Vivencio Dizon said he would hold the fort for CDC president, Noel Manankil, who took a leave of absence on June 30 to give way to a BCDA investigation ordered by President Rodrigo Duterte following an allegation that Manankil had demanded P2 million from an investor.
Manankil denied the allegation, saying he was never involved in any irregularity in the 21 years that he had been employed in various positions at CDC. —Tonette Orejas
