MANILA, Philippines — Rescuers found the body of one of the three teenagers who reportedly drowned in a river in San Mateo, Rizal, on Wednesday morning, authorities said.

The body of a 14-year-old boy known only by his nickname “John Jalani,” was fished out of the San Mateo River in Barangay (village) Dulong Bayan Uno at 10 a.m., two hours after a search which began when the incident was first reported.

Teddy Apiladas, head of the San Mateo rescue team, said two other teenagers identified as Hermisto Pareño, 13, and a certain Mark Christopher, 16, were still missing.
