Fire partly destroys cargo warehouse near NAIA in Parañaque City

MANILA, Philippines—Fire of still undetermined origin razed a portion of the PAGS Cargo warehouse on Manila International Road in Parañaque City Sunday morning.

The blaze started around 10 a.m., according to reports reaching the Media & Public Affairs Office of the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA).

As of this writing, the Bureau of Fire Protection was “still trying to put out the small fire,” said the MIAA.

The private firm’s warehouse is located near the Philippine Amusement Gaming Corp. casino compound and some 400 meters from Terminal 1 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
