Sorsogon gov offers P100-K for info on board member’s slay
LEGAZPI CITY — Sorsogon Governor Robert Lee Rodrigueza offered P100,000 in reward money to anyone who could give information that might lead to the arrest and conviction of those behind the killing of Sorsogon 1st District Board Member Pedro Alindogan Ravanilla on Tuesday.
Ravanilla, 64, was shot three times at around 8:50 a.m. Tuesday by an unidentified gunman in Sorsogon City.
Hours later, Rodrigueza released a statement on his social media account strongly denouncing the slaying.
“His untimely demise is a big loss to the province of Sorsogon,” Rodrigueza said.
He also said that Ravanilla “unselfishly served” through three terms as councilor of Sorsogon City from 2006 to 2016.
