‘Type ng Bayan’ project launched in Parañaque

The Duterte Cabinet Spouses Association (DCSA) together with the Metro Manila Mayors Spouses Foundation (MMMSF), Department of Health (DOH), Department of Interior Local Government (DILG), recently launched the free flood typing program dubbed “Type ng Bayan.”

MMMSF president Janet Olivarez, wife of Parañaque Mayor Edwin Olivarez, said the program, which was launched in the city on Feb. 28, seeks to assist the poor in determining their blood type which is important for facilitating blood donations outside their family.

“Knowing your own blood type can save lives,” Olivarez said a statement. The local government units under their respective mayors will deliver the testing kits to their different barangays for implementation.
