Did You Know: NCR road accidents
According to the latest Road Crash Statistics Report of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority’s Metro Manila Accident Recording and Analysis System, there were 109,322 road accidents in the National Capital Region in 2016. Of this figure, 426 were fatal; 16,416 resulted in nonfatal injuries while 92,480 resulted in damage to property. —MARIELLE MEDINA, INQUIRER RESEARCH
