Sarok Festival

The town of Consolacion in Cebu province celebrates its founding anniversary during the Sarok Festival. Dancers from 21 barangays showcase the sarok, a hat made from bamboo strips and dried banana leaves.

Basi Festival

The agricultural town of Naguilian in La Union province promotes one of its major products, basi (sugarcane wine). Activities include street dancing, an agri-trade fair and a farm tour.

Le Tour de Filipinas

Launched in 2010, Le Tour de Filipinas is the only Philippine cycling tournament sanctioned by the Union Cycliste Internationale, Philippine Cycling Federation and Asian Cycling Federation. Fifteen teams are competing in four stages in the cities of Legazpi, Sorsogon, Naga, Lucena and the town of Daet in Camarines Norte.
