USC-TC bags first win in CAFC interclub tilt
Former Philippine team member Joshua Fegidero exploded with six goals to lift the University of San Carlos-Technological Center (USC-TC) to its first win in the men’s open of the ongoing Cebu Amateur Football Club (CAFC) 11th National Interclub Football Cup yesterday at the USC-TC football field.
USC-TC routed Count FC, 14-1, to tally three points good for second place in Group A with a 1-1 (win -loss) record.
Fegidero proved unstoppable when he kicked in his first goal at the 28th minute of the match, which he immediately followed with another goal a minute later.
Fegidero scored the rest of his six goals in the second half at the 53rd, 54th, 57th and 81st minutes.
In the other game, San Roque Royal United (SRRU) barged into the win column by blanking the Coast Guard, 2-0.

In the boys 17-Under, USC-TC tallied its second win with a 3-1 beating of Ateneo de Cebu (AdC) while its sister team USC-NC had no luck after bowing to Mandaue Technical Institute (MTI), 1-5.
In the distaff side, the USC-TC lady booters stretched its winning streak to three with a 2-1 edging of the Aroroy FC from Masbate.
