Hoax bomb threat jolts Manila court, Marina

A bomb hoax on Tuesday disrupted work in one of the buildings in Manila that houses the Manila Metropolitan Trial Court and the Maritime Industry Authority (Marina).

An employee of the Triple Dental Clinic also inside the Trida Building received the bomb threat around 12 noon.

The caller alleged that a bomb would explode at 2 in the afternoon.

Superintendent Emerey Abating, Station Commander of the Manila Police District 5 said they also received the call around 12:00 p.m.

FEATURED STORIES

The Manila police immediately deployed members of its Explosive and Ordinance Division while the employees were ordered to vacate the building.

At 1:40 pm, the building was declared negative of explosives.
