Fire hits University of Manila
The Bureau of Fire Protection in Manila has placed at P300,000 the damage caused by the fire that hit the University of Manila before dawn on Sunday.
A radio dzBB report said the fire broke out at 1:25 a.m. and reached the third alarm before it was declared fire out at 2:03 a.m.

Quoting Bureau of Fire Protection-Manila’s Chief of Operations, Chief Inspector Marvin Carbonel, the report said the fire was contained at the university building’s second floor.
No one was hurt in the incident and authorities are investigating the cause of the blaze. CBB/rga
