An alleged drug peddler who posted bail last month—and who revealed his drug suppliers when interrogated by the police—was shot dead by unidentified gunmen on motorbikes in Makati City late Thursday night.

Mark Anthony Lunag, 20, died in the attack in front of his house on Corregidor Street, Barangay Guadalupe Nuevo.

Crime scene investigators said they recovered a sachet of marijuana leaves from Lunag’s back pocket.

Senior Insp. Anthony Bagsik, chief of the antidrug unit of the Makati police, said Lunag was arrested in July for possession of 2.3 grams of “shabu” and managed to post bail in October.

During interrogation, Bagsik recalled, Lunag gave information about his drug sources who used him and some minors as couriers in Guadalupe Nuevo.
