Pangasinan village chair killed outside home

The chair of a village in Pangasinan was shot dead as he was outside his home on Wednesday night. AFP

DAGUPAN CITY, Philippines – The village chair of Barangay Bued in Alaminos City was shot dead outside his house on Wednesday night (Oct. 26) by still unidentified gunmen.

Salvador Camba was shot 12 times at 8:15 p.m.

He was pronounced dead on arrival at the West Pangasinan District Hospital.

Camba was not on any drug watchlist and was said to be active in the campaign against illegal narcotics. CBB/rga
