IN THE KNOW: UN office on drugs and crime

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) helps UN member states in campaigns against drugs, crimes and terrorism.

It offers technical cooperation projects, research and analytical work and help in the ratification of treaties.

Founded in 1997, UNODC is a merger of the UN Drug Control Program and the Center for International Crime Prevention.
