Duterte vows more benefits, pay hike, new weapons to soldiers

MAWAB, Compostela Valley — President Duterte reiterated, on Tuesday, his support to the troops in the fight against drugs and terror.

In his visit to the 10th Infantry Division headquarters here , Mr. Duterte called on the military to “stick to their mandate” of preserving the country’s territorial integrity and protecting the people.

The President told hundreds of soldiers his administration would ensure they get additional benefits, such as new weapons, body armor, and salary increases.  SFM
