CEBU CITY — The policeman, who was caught on video mauling and brandishing his gun at a truck driver, has undergone questioning at the Mandaue City Police Office (MCPO).

PO3 Renato Inot and his cousin, Adelcos Alonzo, were accompanied, on Tuesday, by elements of the City Intelligence Branch of the MCPO who picked them up in Medillen town, northern Cebu, after they informed the CIB of their desire to surrender.

The two underwent interrogation by Senior Supt. Roberto Alanas, acting Mandaue police director, in his office at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

FEATURED STORIES

The cousins went to their hometown in Medillen after they figured in an altercation with a truck driver last Friday along A.C Cortes Avenue in Barangay Looc near the First Mandaue-Mactan Bridge, which connects Mactan Island from mainland Cebu.

Inot was caught on video hitting truck driver Crispen Ricarte several times with his fist while pointing his gun at him.
