Obama heads to Europe amid British referendum aftershocks

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama is leaving on five-day, two-country trip to Europe where he’ll talk with leaders about the fallout from Britain decision to leave the European Union.

The president is set to attend a meeting of NATO leaders in Warsaw before heading on to his first presidential visit to Spain.

In both places, Obama will be surrounded by leaders still reeling from Britain’s vote to leave the EU and sorting through uncertainty about the future.
