ZAMBOANGA CITY—The man considered by police here as the fourth most wanted drug personality was shot and killed by a still unidentified assailant on Thursday.

Supt. Luisito Magnaye, the city police director, said the killing of Yusop Hassan Ujajun in Barangay Buenavista around 7:30 a.m. was obviously drug-related.

However, he said it could be a case of “double cross.”

“It could be a betrayal, a drug deal gone bad. We are looking into that angle,” Magnaye said, adding that there was only one gunman.
