15 year old girl kidnapped in Butuan City
MANILA, Philippines—A fifteen-year-old girl was abducted by an unidentified suspect in Butuan City before dawn Wednesday, a police spokesperson said.
Philippine National Police spokesman Chief Superintendent Agrimero Cruz Jr. said that Butuan City police are hunting down a suspect who kidnapped a 15-year-old girl in Butuan City at around 2 a.m.
Butuan City police initially tried to go after the suspect who was able to escape.
Cruz said that authorities were conducting checkpoints in all possible escape routes.
