Roxas, who has been trailing behind Poe since the campaign period started, said he’s more focused on presenting his platforms to the public than worrying about party allies supporting his rival.

Kung meron mang nagnanais na lumipat, well, thank you very much,” Roxas said in a chance interview after a dialogue with fisher folk at Barangay (village) Sta. Clara in this city.

But the standard-bearer of the ruling party had strong words for LP turncoats: “Mas mabuti na nga na lantaran na lumipat sila kaysa patago at pasaksak sa likod ang kanilang gagawin.

She said she would reveal their names “in due time.”

Their current standings in the poll surveys are not enough to discourage Roxas from winning the race. He said the surveys show that the presidential race will be a close one until Election Day.

“Naalala natin nung nakaraang mga buwan ay sabi nila, wala tayong ka-tsansa tsansa, nasa four percent tayo. Eh ngayon ay nasa bente tayo,” he said.

Staying positive, Roxas said it’s important to note that his ratings are rising slowly but steadily.
