Suspected drug pusher killed in Quezon raid; 21 nabbed
LUCENA CITY, Quezon — A suspected drug pusher was killed in a shootout with policemen in Infanta town in Quezon province on Monday, police said.
A team of policemen, carrying 10 search warrants, raided the houses of suspected drug pushers in Barangay Bantilan around 5 a.m. but they were met with gunfire from one of the houses, Chief Insp. Roberto Santos, Infanta police chief, said in a telephone interview.
Santos said policemen returned fire, killing one of the suspects identified only through his alias, “Panot.”
Santos said policemen arrested 21 people during the raid and seized a still undetermined volume of shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) from the suspects. SFM
